Thanks. Did you use any ceramic grease on the new plug? What torque did you tighten it to?

Didn’t use any grease, but did torque down. Sorry don’t remember what i torque too.

Did you only change the 1, wouldn't it make more sense to do all 4 at the same time

Yea only changed one. Others where in good working order. No problem since.

i have 2.0 bkp engien and im affraid the end of the glow plug could snap off into the cylinder ? how often happens ??

Just buy good quality plugs. Beru or something similar.

You've got to now how to fix these vw to own one . Forget about reliability when buying passat. Bunch of sht these modern passats ...2015 with 168k on the cloak and uneconomical to repair according to the mechanics. Scrap
