Is there anything that can go wrong after doing this like fault codes and anything to be reset?

Hi. Providing you disconnect the battery before removing the unit, no fault codes or other problems should occur. The only things that will happen if the battery is disconnected for a while is the clock will reset, along with any custom infotainment settings (e.g. favourite radio stations). Your average fuel consumption will also be reset.
