Vw Polo Vivo Heater Valve

my 2011 Polo Vivo cranks and starts on the 3rd attempt when parked in the sun for a long time. Could I replace this valve?

We have a 2021 polo vivo 1.4 trend model. Is the location of the heater valve and pcv valve the same as in this video?

@BrendanPike001 thankyou. Pitty im not in Cape Town, my polo is due for a good service soon. Tha last service was done at 56000 kms. Tavcor regard it as a 60.000km service and our service plan ended there. So our next service is on is(which I can imagine Wil b dealer prices). Alternatively I Wil source an RMI approved workshop. We are residing in Port Elizabeth. One of my concerns is that we get our baby back spotlessly clean after service. It gripes me big time when you take your vehicle for service and it's clean inside. Then get it back dirty inside, it smells oily and feels greasy all over because some mechanic test drove you vehicle with dirty butt n all. Feel free for comment and or advise. Thankyou

You can bypass it with a longer pipe .from what I see, it's only the flow of water from water bottle to radiator..it doesn't interfere with the heater in your car
