VW Sharan MK2 (7N) sunroof basic settings (calibration fix)

How to calibrate sunroof window and sun shield in Volkswagen #Sharan MK2 (7N). If you are experiencing some issues with the way sun roof is working, there's a good chance that performing basic settings procedure will fix your issues. Proper basic settings are required for one-touch opening and closing, comfort control with remote and pinch protection.
ℹ️ You don't need diagnostic interface to calibrate sunroof. Tools like OBDeleven, VCDS, VAP, ODIS, VAS can be helpful, but in this case you don't need any of those, or even don't need to visit garage for repair service. Just follow this DIY tutorial.
ℹ️ Turn the ignition on, pull and hold the control switch in closing position and wait for the basic settings procedure to begin. Don't release the switch until the procedure is complete. After 10-15 seconds #sunroof window will start to move towards rear of the vehicle. Next it will fully close and learn the closed position. Release the control switch.
Next press and hold the sun shield closing button. Don't release the switch until the procedure is complete.After couple seconds sun shield will open and close. Release the button.
After that the control module is programmed you can check if everything works correctly.
ℹ️ Basic settings procedure for sunroof window and sun shield can be also called programming, adaptation, #calibration, relearning.
🚗 This basic settings tutorial was made in VW Sharan MK2 (7N), but the same procedure might apply to other VAG cars, like VW, Seat, Skoda with the same or similar control panel. Seat Alhambra MK2 should be identical to VW Sharan MK2.

Thanks been try to shut it before the rain came ended outing a sheet over looked on eBay for a new switch watched your KZbin and it worked saved me money and a wet car just need to sort leak that’s why I had the roof open
