VW Starts then Dies Solution DIY (2001-2005) MK4

2001 Volkswagen Golf 2.0 Automatic. Immobilizer was blocking the start of the engine even thought the cluster immobilizer (key) light was not flashing. The MK4 cluster was making a short in the data bus and triggering the Start for 1.5 seconds then Shut Off condition. None of the control modules had communication with my OBD2 scanner until i unplugged the instrument cluster. Similar issue can happen with the different modules that are connected to the data bus circuit. This fix is applicable to any car where you can delete the immobilizer.
