+Mark Halligan It is a very clean build. Your attention to detail will pay off for you for a long time. All those new suspension bushings should give you a smooth ride. I am planning an air suspension on mine.

Well done what an enormous job you're doing! I bet it will be fantastic when it's ready. Sorry if this is a fringe topic question: Is it possible to replace the inner bellows (rubber protection) on the steering rack without loosening the outer ends? (steering knuckles or whatever you call them)

Hello how long it took to convert 2wd to 4wd ? and is it really hard work ?

Hi, probably spent around three months or so working on it, not every day. Not too hard if you can weld and are also good mechanic. If in doubt or unsure, get an experienced person to assist. It is much easier if you have a donor vehicle to get the relevant measurements from.

I have restored all My vw t3 now left paint it all, but finking to convert it to 4x4 but really finking how long it take 😊

what did you undercoat your van with?

+daniel minskey Hi I used a gray synthetic undercoat from a military vehicle paint supplier.
