That looks cracking, loads of effort and you really can see the difference all that cleaning has made. Watching you refit everything especially the front wings and bumper have helped convince me that my drivers door that needs a tweak I really can do myself ….done loads in the past but nothing in ages… you’re the only person I’ve seen put them on and take them off ….you’ve helped massively.

Now you’ve done the 5.1 front end I personally wouldn’t start all over for the 6, I own a T6 but I think the 5.1 looks smarter. Maybe some Transporter HQ headlamp’s if anything as the standard headlamps are a bit poor, only problem is they’re big bucks but worth it if you can stretch to them. Loving what you have done to your van and painting the insides of the wings is spot on.

You can get the brackets to fit bumper to the front panel. Travelenlite or Tps sell them. Also there are fixings behind the bumper mouldings. The bottom of the headlights need a bracket to be made. Hope this helps. The van is looking sweet!!! Nice work.

Transporter HQ H7 led lightbulbs are legal and bloody bright and pass an MOT. I’ve got 2 paid in my Disco 4 😊

Leds are not legal in halogen fitting in vehicles made from 1/4/1986 the only way to do it is to retrofit projectors and hope mot tester got laid.

@@Christophesalvage312 happy days yours is looking sweet to then 👍 soon as I saw how tricky it was to come off I knew new clips where needed. Just grease them all up and wiggle the panel about abit before tapping it on to make sure the first bit of the clip is all the way in the hole then bang them in. Yep satin black sun strip and maybe DTE TV in white along it. Stickers are really soon mate I know I keep saying it sorry 🙏👍

I have trouble with one of my doors from sliding - replaced it with an aftermarket roller on the bottom still the same issue. So need to look at middle area as it pulls out a little. I hope one day i can finger shut it like you 😂

Nice to see how the t5 coming along. I'll have to get mine painted too :) But first (after I actually got MOTd (well local version of MOT) after the tow bar) I'll do the T6 front swap, and shortly after I'll do the two back side windows. Then the T6 back with LED lights.
