Andrea, I love Redmond Salt. We order the 10 pound bag. We used the hydration powder numerous times, it works great. Since ordering Redmond Salt we make our own hydration drink using the salt. I feel your pain with the heat it's 105 degrees right now, 132 degrees heat index. I need to cut the grass as well. Grass cutting will wait until early morning hours at 545AM to start. I'm going tell you my secret when cutting grass when it's hot. I take a quart size baggie and place 1/2cup of water in it and 4 to 5 ice cubes. Place that baggie on the top of my head under my hat while cutting the grass. It's helped me with the heat. I'm keeping my fingers crossed the garlic salt with minerals works well on getting rid of the flies on your cows. Stay cool friend, and safe from the heat.

If you send Redmond a soil sample they will custom build your min/salt blocks

I've been using their salt and spices but I have the re-lite on a prescription and get a container every month I love the Pina colada, one of the best things I've done for my health.

You are such an inspiration I've always loved to garden and farm. Unfortunately health has put a stop to most of it. I'm trying to get raised beds made so I can garden from a chair but having animals other than a handful of chickens I just can't do it anymore. I want to come to your market as soon as possible but my 92 year old mother in law just moved in with us and my husband is battling cancer again for the 5th time and we just don't get around much or very early but plan on making it happen. We live in Hardy so not terribly far. Love all your videos. Thanks for sharing all that you do

We love the Watermelon Lime and Pina colada Relyte. The smoked salt is great for grilling steak and pork chops.

Hey Andrea, You are a very busy girl sweetie. I am so glad to hear you are being proactive about drinking water, replacing electrolytes and paying attention to your body's condition and reaction to heat and stress. There are no second chances or do over's when it comes to Heat-related illnesses, including dehydration, heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke. I was a medic in South Carolina and Texas and we had folks in and out of these stages all the time. I took it upon myself to monitor all the soldiers in my unit watching for all these symptoms and water consumption. When they came in the tent I showed them 1 canteen of water and 1 IV bag told them you do not leave until one of these is empty it is your choice which one and I did bring out the biggest needle I had so most chose to drink. I will tell you I did not play and anyone that tried got corrected right away. I see how you care for all the animals but so often farmers forget themselves or just want to push forward and there is the danger. Thank you for this conversation with folks I do hope it helps even just one person. OMG you got me tired just watching I think I need to go lie down for a while lol. God bless y'all be very safe this summer, Steven

We have used garlic since the 90s on our horses. The difference s like night and day. Now our cows we got 2 years ago have been on it since they arrived. Springtime inc has it in bulk loose that's what we get.

Omg I sweat 😓 a lot I’m in Tx so with the heat index, I think we’re like at 110 or 12 I’ll be coming out like six or 7 PM at night went up to eight and it’s still so hot working an hour or two in my garden., plus we’re trying to clean out the garages cause I’m getting the garage re-leveled and I’m gonna be using my garage to store stuff but until I get it, I gotta clean it out and let the man do his job before I can put in, I’m taking out old stuff that you know that can go to recycle or the city dump or donated to the church. I’m at this point of age just wanna get rid of everything…lol 🥵

Homesteaders and preppers can do all of their chores because they are NOT plugged in to devices all freakin day long. I'm 65 with a 4 acre homestead. There are 4 other people in my home ages 15-46. They're lazy, unmotivated and plugged in. It's a disgrace! My motivational theme with them is dinner will not be made until sh*t gets done. Shameful.
