Did you use BT or Thuricide ? Both are basically the same product. It only kills caterpillars, like these army worms, cabbage loppers, etc. It is organic for people wondering. We use it on our cole crops, no worms in our broccoli this year. Does have to be reapplied after a rain. The worms eat it and it wreaks their stomach. Thanks for all the great information on each video.

do you have enough pasture to mow the sprayed area, just drop what is left there as mulch and rest it this year after spraying - I know spraying was the only way to stop them decimating your entire hay crop - with your meat business I know people prefer grass fed and as spray free as possible and how the spraying of the army worms would effect your sales which I would hate to see happen
@Greens55113 жыл бұрын
Wow, it looks like the size of that sprayer was way too small. I always appreciate ur honesty....but when I hear spraying for bugs and fertilizing that grass, I wonder about ur meat business....how does that work out? I know u don't say it's organic meat, but u do say grass fed....I wish u many blessings to keep ur herd! We can't buy a rain here in our part of MN.....they just opened up CRP because it's an emergency to get farmers enough grass for their animals. So we don't even have much around here for army worms to eat.

Yes hay will be a lot higher this year. Honestly it has rained so much here in the deep south North east Alabama. Either way I pray you got rid of them Ben but something tells me you are going to need a second round of treatment just to be on the safe side. It’s unreal to the numbers of them and how they are just on every section of a blade of grass. Definitely gave me the heebee geebees I know this is the last thing you guy needed right now, I pray they will be gone now and hopefully you can eradicate some of those armadillo holes because they sound like they could be really dangerous!! 🥰🙏🏻🇨🇦
