1:50 that is a VW T 200 "Hormiga" (ant), it was made by VW in Mexico from 76 to 78, apparently only about 3600 were made

@ 2:00 That's a "Hormiga" (Spanish for Ant). Produced in Mexico for local and other Latin America markets. Mid engine, front wheel drive. Unusual drive setup made up of off the shelf parts. So basic an Amish farmer would be proud to drive one.

I am so disappointed that I missed that event. The bus was getting new cv joints and axles and had a time gathering correct seals. Now I hope to make the harvest gathering. By the way, old school remedies call for kerosene on them there injuries. Thanks guys. You are still better than tv.😎

Sure wish we still had decent shows/cruise in events in SW TN. The aircooled scene here is just about dead. There are a few of us that still have our cars, but all the good local shops are long gone. Trying to get my 72 1302 ready for my 50th in July. Last ran/licensed in Oct 2006, pulled it from the barn in Oct 2021. Picking away at it, will be at your burger shop meet up one of these days… Memphis area based.

I've just missed this years Volksfling - but have relatively little left to do in the bug (damned you Heritage parts why don't you offer next day delivery to NE Scotland!!?) but feel Martin's pain with his 65 - mine is a October 65 born 66 model and there's always something needing bought to eventually go in. Would you guys send autographed posters (and potentially stickers) to the UK?
