Aloha Rick, so is there anyway you can explain in more detail on what and how your dialing in the timing please? You have a heavy accent, so it makes it a little more difficult to get what you are doing. I've watched this video many times, but just can't understand what needs to be done to get to the point to adjust the timing on both cams. Mahalo for the help. This seems to be very good info

Sorry about the late reply .first number one piston needs to be on top dead centre .that use a phone to take a picture of the cam position..this part can not be done by eye .the end of the hole on the Cam dot must be in line with the arrow .you might have to stop my video to see see the position..I had to file my bolt holes out on the cam gear and put a dab of weld one slotted hole to make the cam bolt stop on that so the cam gear doesn’t slip .this takes a few try’s .i use a 16 mm dowel to hold the timing chain back to help hold the chain in position so I don’t have to remove the chain tenchioner every time .eBay sell adjustable gears what will make this job easier .it must me smack on other wise it won’t perform or idle
