Kartel has plenty of songs that are not about sex. He is a very talented artist. A legend in my eyes.

God creates people like Kartel. he different. irreplacable. He might not be the best reflection of the Black Man's society but he's hella exciting. Can bring out different emotions and his songs are humorous at times. dont kill me. just my two cents. go go Kartel. FREE WORL BOSS.

I feel terrible saying this, but the narrators sound as if they're working for the BBC, not Vice/Noisey. I can hardly listen to it. It just doesn't have that raw, honest, insightful flavor that we get from journalists like Thomas. Please tell them not to be so professional, and to get to know Vice style journalism and narration!
@dieselphiend9 жыл бұрын
***** Don't know where you got that from. I understand them perfectly. It's the way in which they present themselves-- like I mentioned above, as if they're working for the BBC. It's nothing like Vice content. I couldn't care less that they have Jamaican accents, in fact, I would prefer they do. They just need to get some regular street people to narrate the series. Not professional Jamaicans that clearly know nothing about street life, or Vice style journalism. You wouldn't hire Donald Trump to tell you about hood life, would you?
@dieselphiend9 жыл бұрын
***** Yes, unfortunately I think that's what they were going for. The Jamaica series was produced in cooperation with Snoop Dog (Lion, lol), and I think his people chose the editors, not Vice. To the best of my knowledge, they haven't worked together since.
@pacofrommonaco26407 жыл бұрын
what do you mean....it's just regular jamaican english, yes....you won't believe it but most jamaicans speak plain english with a kind of scottish/irish sounding accent which is accompanied with the typical carribean singsong when they speak ....... what are they suppose to do...narrate in patois and then what?? Only those jamaicans that grew up on the island would be able to understand it and those that are somehow otherwise exposed to it
