What I love about your videos is to see the wild pigs in their natural environment. They belong there and have been there probably before man found the courage to hunt them. As omnivores, you are showing them to do what they are designed to do...clean up the left overs. Fabulous stuff.

Ok, I'm subscribing. It has nothing to do with this vid specifically, but all of your vids are great! Very cool to see another side of these animals.

+jack suquett What do you mean by "another side of these animals"?
@marachime7 жыл бұрын
+Nicki LovesDogs I think they mean that they have only seen them hunted before, from this person's other comment. So it's nice to see them just enjoying life and being pigs.
@Johnyrocket707 жыл бұрын
how he gets close to these pigs without being attacked is unbelievable seriously something strange is going on here.

Nicki LovesDogs marachime hit it on the nose with my previous comment. Looking at all of the vids this guy posted, it's amazing to see that they remember him. There is a vid that he put up that shows a hole in the side of one of the pigs neck where he was shot by a hunter. The pig packed it clay on its own and it healed perfectly. The reason I bring up the hunter is because these pigs are in an area where man is clearly an enemy. At least in terms of there lives being at risk around another human. Vhodyne, had a vid that he posted where he said that he was gone for a season, and that when he returned, he wasn't sure if the pigs remembered him, but they did. They let him and I'm guessing his wife around there brand new little piglets with no fear at all. Even guests he had with him, with yapping dogs by the way, were not attacked, as long as they were with Vhodyne. All other vids on KZbin that are posted with wild boar are hunted, and really only show one side of these animals. Just eating under a feeder and than being shot. I'm not against hunting or anything like that, but only NatGeo or Discovery show a side of these animals where they live with their families and their daily activities. It's just nice to see this same side of them, through the eyes of an amateur film maker, where you get to see Mich more tgan.even what Nat geo offers. A side of them that can actually remember certain humans. That they don't lump all of us into the same pile of dangerous creatures they should stay away from. Nat geo and Discovery try to stay away from them in order to record them as naturally as possible without any help or hindrance by us.

I'm still wondering though. Their noses are incredible sensitive. How do they stand this stench?

Their filthy animals. The stench is probably appetizing to them

I've only seen vids of them being hunted. How they're a pest and must be "DESTROYED!" I don't know they guy who makes these vids personally, and at first I thought they were his pigs. Than I thought that maybe he raised them and let them go back to the wild, cause I did not understand how they accepted him. I thought this area could possibly be a no hunting zone, so maybe they didn't see man as a threat. Than from see in more of his vids, they hunted in his country just like they're hunted here in the US. Not only that, they don't attack people that go with him. I mean, who has heard of that? even the stupid dogs that mess with them. they don't try to harm them when he's there. Even though he has earned their trust, my amazement isn't of the man filming, its how the pigs know and remember him. There is one vids that stands out in my mind the most, and its when he says that he was gone for awhile and expected the pigs to run to him, but they didn't. one was badly injured from a hunter and still, even injured, they still remembered him and didnt see him as a threat, but also, and atleast to me, most importantly, was how the pig cared for its own wounds. I'm just amazed by all this.

They are a pest here in the states where they have no natural predators, but not in Europe or Asia where they belong. Plus, the feral pigs here in the USA are not true wild boars, but rather domestic pigs that reacclimated to living in the wild after escaping. Hence why we call them feral pigs and not wild boars, peccaries and javelinas are the closest thing we have to true wild boars/pigs here in the United States. I hope that clarifies things a bit.

here is where the species called 'pig' comes into its own, as a utilitarian creature of nature doing its 'duty' it evolved to, in native form and habitat. nothing for the 'sake' of it, or to please 'man', but to do its part in the eco system. not like more 'modern world' pig sometimes associated with unsanitary conditions, or 'odd' appearance, and as something evolved to serve 'man'. probably why some dislike wildboar, they can't control it, or it'll 'bite', in defense, in defense of its importance to its habitat. (intermixed 'razoback', or other 'man made' hybrids, different)..

I love watching animals eat but it's kind of weird when you think about it. Probably in another parallel universe the animals are the dominant species and they're more like anthropomoric and we're the animals eating each other

Many a human body despose by feeding to hogs. Noted by serial killers, use to address nosey ATF in 20 century by bootleg and organizing criminals. Bones and all guess that be pigs you would sale to public market. Ha ha Just as thinking bad pigs how you like have that kind of human in your town. Pig just being pig. Funny just finished lunch glazed ham, okra, dressing w/gravy, and sweet potatoes. Glad ate before video. Great video and this man has a steady self. Thanks!
