I love Indian music as well, just as I love all kinds of folk music from around the world. My favorite genre of music is "world music" (whatever that label means anymore), and I love collecting artists from around the world who incorporate their culture into their music. :) It keeps music fresh and interesting for me.

I'm watching this in the US in 2022 for the v. first time. WOW - To face off in a dance with Vijayanthi Malla, the other dancer has to be simply terrific, probably one of her BEST students - She sure can dance!! And of course, good ol Vijayanthimala is simply the queen & no one can beat her - What beauty, what a figure & what grace!! Those were the days - Today we have BOLLYwood - Need I say more!? Ashish I give Bhansali credit for attempting beautifully complicated dance choreos, but the new crop of actresses, while certainly gorgeous eye-candy and adequate dancers, just do not have that wow factor for me.
