The Otome Taisen rev. had more 3D-ish looking graphic. They reworked most of the characters, and I think they reduced the frames of animation and size for some of them. Matches consist of single hit poking a la Samurai Spirit most ot the time, with rare long Hougeki Combos (Aksys style) when the opponent messes up... You can find very good tournament video, but let's say that normally matches are not flashy or entertaining to watch.
