Doom II: Back to Saturn X E1 - MAP05: Total Exposure - Blind Ultra-Violence Plus 100%

With Atmospheric Pressure for music and this open air layout playing into the title, Total Exposure is my favourite early BTSX E1 map. And make no mistake, even in SP the last big fight can break you if you're cruising along the difficulty of the previous 4 maps. At least for the average player, which you, Vyturn, are not. 😜 It'll be a little while before the wad belts you across the face with a setpiece as vicious as this again. Cheers to Pavera for providing this spike in excitement!

Nice! I love how the very start area is reused as the cyber tower that raises up in that deadly fight. Really conservative use of map space which I looooooove 😊

It's really smart usage; I can't believe I didn't notice it during the playthrough! But maybe that's what makes it so smart, it feels like an entirely different area 😄

I somehow had a feeling this was going to be your first death of the WAD, at least on co-op because of the double archie teleport trap. Oh, how I was there was a way to telefrag or crush that cyber...such an ammo drain to kill him manually. GGs, and looking forward to Map 06!

Yeah, I think you're boned 90% of the time when you stay there and there isn't really a way to know. But I guess that's the price of wanting to play with co-op things :D
