VZA would love to see jim draw ‘electra’ 🙂

Jim Lee possibly the greatest comic artist ever. So technical and a style that no one can truly knock. And most importantly...so consistent. Since the late 80s this guy has been turning out jaw dropping work while other hot artists have flamed out.

"Try not to draw exactly what you see in your head. Draw what you can." This is something I've been struggling with lately and I needed to hear Jim Lee say exactly this.

1. I watch his videos 2. I draw after being insprired by his videos. 3. I cry because I will never be as good as Jim Lee

Can't even draw. Yet finding Jim Lee scratching the paper and eventually creating forms and object is calming and relaxing.
@brantshepherd93875 жыл бұрын
These are hands down some of the best videos to turn on and listen to while I work. Jim’s stream of consciousness along with the scratches of the pens and pencils is fantastically relaxing.

It's like watching the drawing go from childhood to adulthood. The beginning of the drawing looks like something that a 5 year old would've of scribbled and then transform into a mature professional well done art.

Jim I myself am an artist and I just wanna say I've idolized you and the late great Stan Lee since I was eight years old I'm now 32 keep up the good work.

This is really amazing. Jim Lee is improving with each sketch! ( which is impossible ). I say this a lot but Lee is just incredible! I love the foreshortening! Would love to donate towards the funding that helps comic artist insurance so Jim can live untill he's 9000 years old. VZA you have my full support. If i can help in any way, i will
