I love that it starts off like the scribbles of a mad man and then it ends up bing an awesome drawing of Black Canary.

I don't know who the best illuistrator is or the best teacher for that mattert but I haven't found anyone who inspires me to draw more then Jim Lee. Thanks Jim-I always think your style is fearless!

Jim Lee is an Absolute Genius!!..it's really inspiring to see him working thru his process & the end results is always Amazing!! His work on uncanny Xmen was both EPIC & LEGENDARY!! Thanks for uploading these videos of a genius at work!!

Jim Lee has always been my favorite artist. Growing up I've always drawn and read comic books and loved a lot of different art but I went through favorites like a paper shredder. Then when I was a bout 15, 16 years old I came across one of Jim's X-Men comics and ever since then I took art seriously and Jim has been my favorite.

Incredible watching Jim create these drawings. Really makes me wish I had more time to draw like I used to.

Amazing! I'm always thinking, "Don't mess it up! Oops there you go... you ruined it." Then it just gets better in every way. It's like watching Bob Ross paint. Love the art and seeing a master at work.

While Jim was attacking the abdomen, at first it looked like certain parts were being overworked. But after getting a look at the finished piece, it blew me away. The silhouette lighting on the leather freaking blows me away. I especially like the highlighting on Canary's ribcage. F***ing solid work. Jim Lee gets me every time. Love this stream. Legend indeed.

He's so liberal with his eraser. I don't erase nearly that much! But that's why he's a pro. That willingness to try and fail and just as quickly try again.

What is the size of the paper that is being used? What is the lead being used?
@J_bronco5 жыл бұрын
The lead I believe is either .4mm or .7mm, you can tell by the color of the pentel, if its green its 4 if its blue its 7. I just cant tell 😂 paper idk, jim typically uses bristol paper but that's when he is using ink or marker to sketch. Not to sure about his pencil sketches
