The slow movement makes this wonderful piece very special.

Magnificent. The chromatics in the opening phrase sound so natural. I am always awed by how he makes genius look so simple.

I totaly agree.

Very innovative trio. It anticipates Beethoven and Schubert. The main difference between Beethoven and Mozart is the ease in which he travelled from event to event.

very fine rendition. Thanks for sharing! We always played the last mvt stressing the grace notes within the theme - so this a kind of new listening experience to me. Also sounds good and natural - like little bell punches.

Do you have your own recording of this music? I would like to hear it.
@chrisingres62219 ай бұрын
thanks for the reply - no, this trio we didn't record but maybe there's a chance to do so in autumn (with a historical hammerclavier from 1791). I'll post in on my channel then maybe if the record is ok - so you can listen to it later on if you are still interetsed in it. best, Chris@@danielbuyanov

Mozart was just such a genius! This amazing piece was probably tossed off in the morning before he went out drinking with his buds.

Never knew he even wrote a piano trio. It is brilliant all the same

He wrote many piano trios, just like basically any other musical genre of the time. It’s truly astounding how Mozart had such a vast output that you can think of any genre and assume that he wrote at least five pieces in it and be right most of the time.

Weak violin. Very good piano. Sad combination

why do think he's weak? I find him excellent.

The pianist rushes too often. Wish I could hear the cellist more.
