I will be singing Mozart's Requiem in concert as a tenor in a choir very soon and I had little time to prepare it. This interpretation with such a good direction by Elisabeth Fuchs was very good training for me!

Played this magnificent art work first time at the big cathedral of Nice. Always touched by Mozarts genius i shed some big tears while playing Violin especially while playing the lacrimosa part. Mozart is my first love forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I like this performance very very much 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉so great.The conductor is full of passion and joy 🙏would love to play in this beautiful Orchestra. 🎻

I am from Mexico and in my country there is not much about this work, although it is my favorite. That's why I have seen each and every one of the concerts on the web, even though they are the same work, they all have something different. This is no exception. Je ne suis qu'un fils de prolétaire et moi même prolétaire, n'ayant jamais jusqu'à mes 48 ans aujourd'hui, qu'eus les moyens d'écouter la grande musique via des enregistrements a la maison car les théâtres et les opéras ne sont pas dans mes moyens. Par contre via ces médias à pas cher, j ai écouté 1000 fois le Requiem de Mozart. Dirigé par 1000 chefs. Mozart que j adore car il fut le 1er Punk, en ce sens qu il deconstruisit les Codes pour magnifier le beau de ceux qui le precederent, est ici interprété de façon grandiose par Elizabeth Fuchs. Bravissimo signora Fuchs e Tutti Gracie De la France des prolos. Gracie Madame.

Hard to argue with that. Gorecki's Symph No. 3 is a legit competitor. Handel's Messiah of course should be considered as well. Nonetheless, Mozart's Requiem is just incredible!

The conductor seems particularly passionate about this work of music. And properly so. It’s divine. But I think she really loves it and feels a personal connection to it. I think that passion makes this an exceptionally special, beautiful performance.

This conductor is excellent; there are some interpretations that are so slow that the piece loses its energy. Elisabeth Fuchs, on the other hand, is truly electrifying. She imbues the piece with a palpable intensity that some conductors simply miss. Her interpretation is nuanced and vibrant.

Been to Salzburg four times, during Easter time, and believe me when I say that it is indeed a beatiful city with load of beautiful people. I enjoy attendingHoly Mass at St. Rupert Cathedral during Easter time where Holy Mass is said with a full orchestra and choir .

Mozart should have had the possibility to listen to all beautiful performances of his Masterpiece, for example this one! Sadly he died very soon after writing this. But his music will live forever.

Mozart hat dieses Meisterwerk für einen unbekannten Auftraggeber, der es dann als sein eigenes Werk ausgeben wollte, geschaffen. Mozart ist dann jedoch vor der Vollendung gestorben, so dass das Werk unvollendet blieb. Im Auftrag der Ehefrau Constanze Mozart haben Schüler Mozarts das Werk schließlich fertiggestellt. Das alles hat Mozart neben seinen weiteren Tätigkeiten geschaffen und trotz seiner schon schwerwiegenden Erkrankung. Ein Meisterwerk!
