I was there! My mum recorded it for me live off the BBC radio. When I got home she passed me the tape and said, “ooooh, they were a bit noisy were’t they?”. lol I know exactly what she meant!

I was there. I was stationed in London at the time in the Navy and a bunch of us went to the concert. I had loved WASP since the 80's when I was in High school and it was cool as hell to finally see them live. What a wonderful day for a concert too. It was kick ass.

I was at this, this performance looks more exciting than I remember, but I hadn't got 'The Crimson Idol' album yet, and wanted to hear more from the first four albums, and only 'Wild Child' and 'I Wanna Be Somebody' were featured on the set list. Blackie was only then starting to put on weight.....The Almighty were a great start to the daySlayer were the band of the day, Skid Row were brilliant and Maiden were pretty good but not amazing. Spent Thunder's set at the bar and at the record stalls.....

I think, the Sound on that Day was not very good. For WASP. I remember a lot of wind and the sound was not so good as in this Video. As Adam B wrote, this was the prime time of WASP. Headless Children and The Crimson Idol are Benchmarks in Metal (for me). I saw them a few times more in Germany in small Venues and i remember a lot of Moshpit, Party and a Band which was in the middle of us - at her Prime ,-)

I think the early 90s were better for metal than the late 80s, and 1992 was an especially good year. Black Sabbath, Blind Guardian, Alice in Chains, WASP, Faith No More all released classic albums. Megadeth and Pantera were fairly good too. Crimson Idol = one of the best rock/metal albums of all time.
