I enjoy your entire discography, but damn...this is your best song EVER. This was my anthem as a teenager in the 80s -- the good times, the bad times, whenever, this pure metal tune has Always raised me up, even to this day; it never lets up. So very appropriate for that decade especially. I really dig how the final 2 verses switch to "I'm *gonna* be somebody!"...raw, empowering heavy metal at its finest. Songs like this literally changed my life back then, for the better.

I always thought HD took away from the original. If you clean up old film footage too much it loses it's unique appeal and nostalgia. I think it should be preserved "as-is". This is just my honest opinion. 😏

When I first saw this video from Blackie Lawless and the rest of his crew on MuchMusic's metal Wednesday, they were the freakiest bunch I've ever seen. I had no idea just how good this band was and how gifted Lawless was as a songwriter. I'm not surprised W.A.S.P. gets a ton of love to this very day.

It cracks me up! I remember buying this on 45 and thinking my Mom was gonna yell at me cause it was to Hard Core, and I still have the 45, it's probably worth a couple bucks still.

Wasp were way better than Mötley Crüe, but music is not about who is better, is about what do you like and what is giving you more, it is about a feeling.. more than a feeling🍀🤘

Live in the Raw is right up there greatest concert albums ever. You totally get a feel for the band’s power and Blackie’s amazing vocal range. Very underrated group for sure. Right up there with Crue and Ratt. Hon Mentions to Y&T, Dokken, and LA Guns

I was in the Marie Corps in 1985, stationed at Camp Hansen, in Okinawa Japan, Very young and Green. With the Terror Of Boot camp and WASP I Became a lean mean fucking and fighting machine, Because I have got to be somebody, and I cry out every day. Because I am somebody because I have just got to be.

WASP is an incredibly talented band.Should have been much bigger." "I wannabe Somebody " should be a sports anthem played in stadiums , and arena' s around the country.Hey they are still touring and the fan reaction is awesome. They are right up there with Motley from that genre.
