A deep mysterious world that is a form of prelude to Takemitsus November Steps with western orchestra behind the two soloists. There is a dramatic quality inherent in the gestures including noisy attacks and resonances and violent contrasts of nuances ... this music is one of an ornament of silence ... It is a challenge for the western ear but worthy to take up!
