That's what I call a hard-working man. The amount of distance that he walks pulling that cart AND cooking the food for people is inspiring but also heartbreaking. Jobs like that should be done by young people but as a person gets older they should have it easier.

Well, you think he's poor right ? No, he has a million dollars house because the housing price in Japan is extremely expensive. He could sell like 200 bowls of ramen per night and each one costs 5$ so he could earn $1000/night. After the deductions, he could get a net income of $350 - $400/night. That would be ~$12,000/month, much much better than an average person's income in the US (~$6000/month), you can google that. Don't you ever think these street food vendors are poor, they are rich, but not the filthy ones, they're the hard-working and respectable rich !

最寄駅前に屋台が来ていたので、食べたことがあります。 優しい味で、仕事で疲れた体に沁みるおいしさでした😊 色んな駅で見ますが、市内をこんなに歩いていたとは知らず…驚きです😳

What I would love to see is the inner workings of his cart. How he keeps everything from not falling over, or sloshing out. How the heating piping is done. And electrical workings too! o: Amazing!

Maybe a bicycle is a good alternative, doesn't create the noise and smell a motorcycle creates. Keeps the food fresh, and the eating experience pleasant. 😊

550円?30年以上前に野田阪神で食べた時は650円ぐらいしたような~安いなあ懐かしい美味しかったな~。昔新幹線の高架下は沢山の屋台置き場になってましたね~東洋軒や有名なのは大統領とか。日本の文化は残ってほし~な。

아직도 저런 문화가 남아있다니…먹어본적은 없지만 분명히 맛있겠죠! 저도 어릴때 종을 울리면서 동네를 돌아다니던 두부집 할아버지가 생각나네요. 제가 제일 좋아했던 따뜻한 두부였는데!
