If just one person experiences a fully functional climate system in their w123 it was worth making! I was so excited when my heat worked properly and varies the temperature and everything.

Thanks for the info! I’m about to retrofit a gen3 climate control in to my non ac car. Thinking about replacing the vacuum pods with electric solenoids instead, the outputs to the vacuum solenoids is 12v on/off if I’m correct so it should be pretty easy to do if I find some good matching solenoids

Yeah as far as I'm aware there isn't any vacuum modulating going on, either a pod gets full vacuum or no vacuum, so some solenoids with a duty cycle to handle that would be quite the upgrade!

@@trythistvIf the vacuum switchover valves receives 12v from the control module (haven’t had the time to check this yet) it shouldn’t be more complicated than swapping does out for regular relays and the vacuum pods for spring back electrical solenoids with the right stroke length

I did on the cruise amp repair, I have since gotten a little better soldering station so I used that for this climate module thing, but these boards are pretty simple with giant through hole components, not too daunting for a beginner

You might have the ACCII style climate system in a 107, which is very different, Are your climate buttons arranged vertically or are they horizontal like in my W123?

I believe it should be behind the glove box and be the same as mine, the earlier accii systems used an "evil servo" that was controlled by a different looking box, which also happened to be behind the glove box

You'd need $1000 worth of computers to re-code the vin number to match, or a trip to the stealership for anything electronic in any newer car practically. Love my W123!
