i did this myself in my w204 2008 c-classe i have done this in about 6 hours all in 1 day, i had the same amount of bulky cables i just routed them the way the are supossed to go and used some sticky tape to hold the screen converter unit at the top where the plastic screen cover sits and everything fitted perfect OEM 1st try

Mine does the same thing after the car heats up, if it's a cold morning my radio will work but if I turn it off, it won't work and pops until it resets, I took the whole radio out and changed fuses 😂 still no luck
