The 2011 will not, in 2012 when MB did the face lift they switched the transmission from the 7G-Tronic transmission to a MCT Speedshift Sport transmission with a wet clutch that included the race start and improved gear changes.

My guy, I got one this summer and tried about 5 times on a back road and every time it says race start canceled lol I’ll try again soon

Make sure you press the brake pedal really hard almost near as if you were trying to push it through the firewall. Also if you do get on the chip and hold it too long it will cancel

Are you using both feet; one to hold the brake pedal and the other to floor the gas pedal, and then release the brake? Thanks!
