I have 2015 , love it , it has its own mind , seems like it sometimes lol … those are your regular common things , oil leak here and there, plastic coolant lines , etc… nothing drastic , just stay on top of the things, and it’ll be fine … it’s 10 year old vehicle with 100.000 miles … however , there is taxi drivers using those cars all over the Europe , with 400.000 - 500.000 km on the odometer, and still running strong every day … but Europeans are different, they take care of their cars, here in US people buy a new car every couple years , in Europe people buy what they really want , and keep it , and they maintain it religiously, that’s why 100K miles in Europe is nothing , and here in US is “high mileage “ car lol ….

I’m having some oil leakage on my w221.. seems like it’s from the oil filter housing. Guessing bad gasket

Just viewed your video. You are right about not procrastinating when you notice an issue with your car. Address the issue straightaway. BTW the wheels on the S550 look great. What manufacturer and model? 19” or 20” Did you need to use wheel spacers or were they a direct fit without them? Thanks,

sell it and do what ? You have $170.000 for a new one ? Or you gonna buy another used one with same issues lol … if you get the car you like , if something needs fixing , you fix it … you buy another car , and when that one breaks down what you gonna do , sell it again ? lol

Some seals or gaskets in the front. Required a lot of removal. I paid $1500 to replace everything. Some coolant or oil lines crumbled in the process. Had to be replaced. The leak was so bad, I don’t ask which gaskets specifically. Just wanted them replaced.

the cam cover needs the gaskets replaced due to the oil seeping onto the alternator. I suggest changing all coolant tubing because they are plastic connectors, and this car has issues with the cam sensors sucking in oil and the oil seeping into the wiring harness. Theres vids out there about those things. I'm not sure about the other oil leaks.
