W639 heater blower fix (job 2 on the van list of Jobs)

Today i tackle the problem with my heater not working on my W639. Hopefully i have the W639 heater blower fix sorted with the parts that i have purchased.
This is the second job that i am doing on my van before we go to Newquay.

Good job! How did you know which Fan of Nissens you needed to buy? I have two sorts that matches my car...

If you call you local Mercedes dealer and ask them what one you need and then when you have the code you will be able to find it cheaper online, but good to ask them for a price as sometimes the main dealer does do a good price. Cheers for the comment

I think there are some screws through the vents which should help get it off. I think this is what your asking as I need to take this off to replace the bulb on the top buttons and air controllers

@@theburts cheers but havent started it yet but i got the fan and regulater .Im more scared the wires will get in the way or I wont ba able to remove the plastic cover on the fan .I assume u take the 3 fan screws out before the cover comes off

You will be able to do it. Once you have the new fan back in it's just some moving around with the cover and wires and you will get it all to fit back in. Good luck when you do it 🤙🏻

My fans stop working today. Not working on any speed is the fan or the rezistor?

i would say more resistor but. you could try that first or replace both at the same time. just to be sure. let me know how you get on?
