Loving following along on your Wabakimi trip! It was cold in that part of the woods in late June!! Great drone footage of the various waterfalls along the Allanwater River! Another great videoKevin - thanks for sharing.

You're looking leaner and fitter Kevin, the trip must have done you the power of good and not just for the mind 👍 Excellent videography as well, I can almost feel the experience!

Thanks, I gained some weight this year with all the stress in our lives. Getting out on a long trip was good for both mind and body.

Kevin, this trip isn't going to let you completely forget the troubles leading up to the trip, but does allow plenty of challenges for you.

Smart call to hold up in those strong winds - it’s just not worth the struggle for minimal progress. Brennan Falls is pretty spectacular 😊

Thanks, Brennan Falls is certainly spectacular.

Great to see the fire. Camping aint the same without one. Im going to Parc de la Mauricie in Quebec in two weeks and my campsite does not have a fire pit. Can you imagine? The federal government will even mess up camping.

geez. Tough leg. Definately could drag my Carbon fusion hull up the shore banging off all those rocks. Going to have to try carrying the extra weight of a more resilient material to see how it feels. It will allow me access to some more remote spots.

I agree with your assessment. I have a lighter Kevlar canoe but I got this one for these more rugged trips.

Good call. You'd be windbound even with a double blade ;-)

Yes, those were pretty strong winds.

Kevin. Continuing to watch this series of your Wabakimi trip. Some terrific scenes as always. Hoping to get to Wab. in a few weeks or early in September. Noticed your seat configuration in your canoe. Did you add the extra seat behind the bow seat? and if you did - what was the reason for it? Peter

Thanks Peter, I did, I find it gives the boat better trim even when front loaded. Check this out... kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGekpa1tfZuhbJI
