Be VERY careful here Pete! The way you are doing it every fortnight is working well for the viewers, the algorithm and your workload. Take it from me, I went there and burned out. You end up doing an epic trip, releasing some epic content, then you're left with a choice between two problems. Either you HAVE to organise a trip just so you have content. You're stoked at first that you get to go on another trip, but it slowly turns into a chore and you don't even realise it until you're so damn tired and sour at the whole game. Or you start having inconsistent gaps in your videos which DOES hurt your channel. Viewers do start dropping off, and while they say they won't; it's not always conscious on their end (I can explain that in depth over a few beers) If things are going well for you now, just be careful what you change. I used to release a lot of stuff at once and then run out of content for a while. I think it is better to pace yourself and not dump it all out there at once. As long as you stick to some sort of schedule, I think most people like that because they know when stuff is due out. Maybe I have taken the concept a bit too far now because i have content uploaded and schedulled right to the end of October this year LOL Oh well, if I happen to fall off the perch there will still be video releases for a few months yet. The big thing with KZbin is don't let it burn you out. We have seen a couple of real legends just give up and walk away from it so it is a real problem.

Yeah mate, I really enjoy your content also. You're a humble man and its so cool to watch. I like how raw it is and you're not afraid to show all aspects. If you have the content, I say bring it on weekly. It would be nice to catch things closer to when you done them, but understandably it's hard to do with time frames and amount of content to spread out. Keep doing you. Well I know nothing about running a KZbin channel, ‘The Algorithm’ or other mystical beasts…but I do enjoy your channel, and you asked, so here’s my thoughts Pete: in terms of frequency, I think consistency is the key…better to do consistent fortnightly than trying to do weekly and then be struggling for content and/or burnout and ending up disappearing for periods. Although if you do want to do weekly, then I’d say keep splitting your trips up into 20-30 minute episodes…I find these bite size chunks are perfect for fitting in between other demands and leave me wanting more. You can then film your podcasts whenever and slip them in between trip series. This should give you consistent content but also allow you breathing space in case you get crook, have other family/work demands, or need a KZbin holiday. Whatever you decide, I hope you have a great 2023 and I look forward to watching 👍

I recommend to any KZbinr that their focus is on quality content. Make sure you have a really good mate who'll give you honest feedback about your work. There's too much same old, same old on KZbin. You're operating in a very crowded market and content generally becomes ubiquitous once the initial excitement and "newness" has worn off. Best of luck with your plans. Don't let social media run your life. It can be a trap that eventually swamps your enjoyment of the very things you love doing. Notice how all the good people who have walked away from KZbin have all cited the same reasons for leaving?

Love the idea of the podcast! I see other creators sending out things like "Tip" videos a lot lately and, frankly, it comes of as laziness for me. G'day Pete, what a crackin way to end the week, A new WACA vid with just a few frothies. Honestly mate I can think of a few pros and cons to your new plans. Firstly the pros - More WACA episodes is always a good thing!!!! The podcast sounds like a great idea as I believe you will stumble down the "it ain't weak to speak" line, as too many people keep things bottled up for to long. Also hearing your back story and your closest mates' stories will also be interesting. Now the unpleasant side, the cons - If you increase the upload level is it going to become like a chore for you and will that end up with you falling out of love for doing what you do, as others have done? I would be an unhappy chappy if WACA disappeared! I wish you would stop apologizing for doing things your way, seriously dude that's why we are all still here... cos Pete does things his way. Can't wait for the next episode, cheers

The waca 76 doesnt get much more budget than budget. Its probably the "cheapest" toyota youtube build in australia. Money seems to be spent on maintenance and sensible mods something the everyday man and woman do, not 150k axle correction chops, with 600amps of lithium wank factor battery power. Go watch xplore life to get a sense of how 1 million times better WACA is as a youtuber.

Just an opinion - I don’t care about your watch I don’t need to see your garage I don’t care for your £10k water heater I don’t care about b/s “ expeditions “ that last 2 days I don’t care about your £2k spots when you don’t night drive. Wish you well but you need to take into account the user base of 2020 to 2022 won’t ever be the same for several reasons. People are no longer trapped in Australia 4wd prices went through the roof and have maintained that price level which deters everyday punters. It’s become an expensive lifestyle which has seen a growth In similar channels all competing for the same eyeballs. It’s also seasonal I wish you well mate but don’t invest too much without first knowing likely realistic returns.

Honestly mate it does not bother me how often you put content out as long as it’s good. I personally don’t like when KZbinrs do weekly content but there is no content they show driving down onto the beach along the beach and make the a 20 min clip

Mate...stick to a winning formula. Who cares if a series takes 8 weeks, builds anticipation and audience waiting. I know what it takes to pump a video out mate and you'll soon burn out cobba. I reckon you'd end up just doing a trip for the sake of doing a trip and then quality slips, your mates will be busy etc etc. In the end you'll probably doing more collaborations, i.e Cam will do half a trip you'll do the other halve! Stick to algorithm!
