I reckon those on the introvert side of the spectrum would love this sort of thing. It has planning, there is a schedule, there is plenty of time while driving to recharge oneself (alone time), and the group is not a Wembley Stadium-sized crowd anyway. Introverts use energy when interacting with people, and recharge when they're alone. It's that simple. Nothing to do with being shy or not liking people. They also have a lower basic rate of mental arousal than an extrovert, and they tend to use more memory, planning and solving problems when processing stimuli (what their senses are telling them). Don't write off the introvert just yet. (Edited to correct a spelling error).

As an introvert who just bought a lc78 I wholeheartedly agree with everything said.

I agree; I recharge by driving and can get to mix afterwards.

We have never considered a tag-along tour but it sounds like it could be a lot of fun. Price is the big killer for us though.

Tag a long trips are one of the best ways to learn about the culture, food, history and geography of a country. Not only from the citizens but from other tourists. One of the main reasons we travel. Our best times have been while sitting around a campfire talking with others and having the group deal with breakdowns, etc. Great fun and a good way to get the feel for a country before committing to a long term overland trip. Good t see you spending quality time with your daughter!

Have been waiting for this video for a while. Have looked at your listed tours many times but haven't yet committed to one. I'm 73 years old and have travelled around a bit with my 4wd and caravan but not yet done a tag along.Selling my house to spend more time on the road so I'll definitely plan one of your trips. I'm a long time fan of yours and your crews and associates. Great stuff!! No, I don't plan to tag along with my caravan. Just a swag.

I agree, there are lots of pros but one con you missed was the cost. Otherwise I would be keen to do lots more as they are really a lot of fun. Also what’s your opinion on a paid tag along tour vs a 4wd club trip.
@RonnyDahlPhotography5 жыл бұрын
Yes the con of price I didn’t touch on much or at all

Yes the cost can be a con for some people but what price do you put on lifetime of memories and spending time with like minded people who love 4WD'ing and adventure... did one a few years ago in South West WA and it was really a fantastic experience
@Triple-N5 жыл бұрын
Can you need to have some car modifications to join a tag along or can a 4WD straight out of the showroom be suitable? Maybe something to cover in another video. But, if you do need to have the car modified, what would be the bare minimum and what would be ideal (without breaking the budget).
@GoatOffroad5 жыл бұрын
Definitely would love to do a tag a long! I can see both sides. But, there are so many ‘pros’ I think most people would enjoy even if they don’t think they would. ❤️🐞

Prices on website they all vary. This one was 1400 or 1500 but that’s the BIG trip
