The show is supposed to be mainly comedy that parodies movie tropes but I can understand that this type of humor is not for everyone. But you went into the first episode with the expectations that this is going to be a worse version of Helluvaboss, already seemingly annoyed that people have recommended this in the first place so of course the bad stuff is gonna stand out more to you. I mean yeah, ep1 was not really polished. There were a good amount of visual glitches and the characters were exaggerated versions of themselves, but c'mon, cut it some slack. It was the very first episode so there hasn't been any community feedback yet. The episodes after that really reduce the awkward moments and make it way more clear that those are there on purpose. The reason this episode felt so detached from the pilot is that there are a lot of hidden clues throughout the show and since the community had about half a year to pick Ep1 apart, the show just built on top of those details and assumed everyone watching knows about them. They seemed to have stopped doing that in ep3 tho and only built on top of things that were clearly shown. Also there's a lot of mystery stuff that'll only get uncovered in later episodes. As for Uzi, yeah she's unlikable but that's kinda the point. From what I've seen she's the type of character that starts out as someone you don't wanna be around and then gets a lot of character development over the span of the series. I recommend you give episode 3 a shot, maybe also with a less critical attitude. While the shows dialogue may not be the best, it really shines with its story and world building. Third time's the charm
