Brandon, enjoy your videos and how you work to keep things simple and effective. Can you consider doing a short series on bank fishing for us bank bound angler's.... 😊

Here soon, ill be using a 10" wacky rigged senko type worm on a 5/0 weedless wacky.....should be interesting...never underestimate a bass's decision to eat big baits....makes more sense spending energy for 1 big meal than multiple times using energy for snacks...Big fish=Big Baits

Could you use a wacky lure on a baitcaster?
@brandoncobbfishing5 ай бұрын
Yes you can. I do quite often when using a bigger worm but I definitely prefer spinning

Brandon why with your serious of spinning reels they are all extra fast instead of fast action?
@brandoncobbfishing4 ай бұрын
@@JohnSmith-wn6br honestly I just kept tweaking them until I like the feel and that's where they ended up according to factory standards

With the wacky rigged worms sinking so slow, do you ever let them sink to the bottom or like you said, just throw it to a spot and let it chill a few seconds and then reel it in and move on? The thing that confuses me is I thought typically you were supposed to let it sink to the bottom and that just takes forever, even shallow.
@brandoncobbfishing6 ай бұрын
Kind of depends on exactly what your targeting. Usually I just let it sink for a bit though as I use it for fish sitting high in the water. Too slow for me if I think they are deeper. I use a shaky head or texas rig in the situation

@@brandoncobbfishing This makes more sense to me as to when to use a wacky rig. Thank you for the explanation!

They often bite on the way down so letting it sink to the bottom is time well spent.
