First time i watched Cintiq24HD i've cried... and i still do it when I watch how it works... Definitely: this is a graphic-designer/illustrator "must have"!!

I've been using my 21" since they came out about 10 years go, if I am not mistaken and can't live without it. I can imagine how cool would be to have the touch also.

In our experience, no it does not freeze a lot. Before purchasing, I'd contact Wacom and make sure it works great with the system you have.

This is a beautiful piece of equipment and I love using mine. I run a wide array of high end design solutions and also have created websites on this screen. Because it is not a glossy screen this means you really can work on the details perfectly thus providing the perfect end solution. One thing he did not mention is the on screen keyboard can be sized to your liking through just moving the corner of the keyboard and adjusting like a desktop web page. You can have it full size or custom sized which ever. Also it will display the default keyboard for either Mac or Windows or whichever PC variance you are using. You can rotate the screen with a majority of software solutions and some software is better geared than others for the hardware. Additionally you can also purchase spray pens and other finite tip pens if you so require. Just one final point you can completely remove the cables that come as standard and use connector cables straight out the Wacom that you prefer so you might no want to run any through conversion adaptors instead, so that can be by passed. Now for the more negative comments: There is nothing wrong with these screens for all those reading the negative comments. They are designed specifically that way and anyone who says they are scratching their screen are making it up. I am talking about the 24" and 27" here. The screen will perform according the power of the machine it is working off. As for the wacom technology that is an aid which does not hinder any performance and software compatible as well as stand alone configurable. My take is that a lot people do not read the instructions or assume they now how it works and then do not bother to set it up properly.

How does the setup work? I have Macbook Pro laptop. The cintiq 22hd touch is powered by 3 different cords... That seems like a hastle. It's the only turn off so far :l
@astutegraphics8 жыл бұрын
+Brad Bailey The cables are always present, but it's not really a portable device, so once set up neatly, you can forget about them. Wacom thoughtfully supplied the Cintiq 24 with long cables, so I'd be surprised if you need to extend them in any way.

Brilliant review, i think you've finally sold me on the idea of getting one of these. Wasn't sure about the use of touch features but I think you demonstrated those quite well. Anyone who is worried that this thing locks up because the strokes appear to lag. I think you'll find that when you draw in illustrator with the pen tool, you are essentially drawing paths and the software doesn't render the pixel information until the path has been completed. If you use the brush tool then the pixel information is rendered as you draw!

I would double check with Wacom to make sure that it would work with your system before making a purchase =)

No, but there is a setting that allows you to turn the image. The round button on the left side can be set to turn the image.
@astutegraphics11 жыл бұрын
Yobz, you would just need to go to the Wacom page and search there. You'd have to provide them with some information about your system then it will be available to you. Best wishes! =)

Another great product by Lynktec; they are on the right track with the tips on their stylus'. Longer lasting and writes better and more precisely. Their recent stylus that I’ve tried out, the Apex, is my favorite for the pen to paper feel it creates!

Friend ... have spent 5 years of that mode 24 hdl, today there is a new generation Cintiq 27-inch QHD in ... I have not seen a live but I imagine they're awesome, bought a 13-inch HD Companion, the display and resolution are good without being great, but today in 2016 have had a wonderful opportunity to buy an old (an apology so if you think an insult to his team) Cintiq 24 HD not touch on such a cheap price I was tempted impossible ... 650 dollars, delivering new home (I live in Mexico ... that explains my bad writing in English jajajaj) do you think it was a good idea? Is that bad resolution 24 hd? My dream is to buy the 27 qHD but it is still very expensive ... also had the opportunity to buy two cintiq 22 hd only pen ... but the resolution is a bit bad ... worse resolution 24HD? I think the price of 650 dollars for the new team and boxed unopened ... was an impossible temptation to let go ... just tell me ... I'm horribly disappointed when you turn the screen? Is very frightening the resolution? Greetings from Mexico.
@CarlosGarro8 жыл бұрын

may i ask where this accent is originating from? especially the U e.g. in "but" at 03:30 or "brush" at 05:27. i've heard this accent also from a few other people here on YT but don't know where its from. probably because my first language is german :)

your underpowered Mac is causing the line lag and zoom lag. Perhaps I recommend that you get a a custom built PC with better up to date GPU, CPU and faster beefier RAM that you could upgrade. Trust me, your cintiq experience would be buttery smooth and less jittery
