4 days!! Luky you!! I had to wait 5 just fort the order to be processed. I bought mine on the 03/31/22 and still expecting to arrive tomorrow 04/12/22

Thanks Toni. Mine comes in tomorrow and I really appreciate you showing the connection for Mac. Did you need any adapter from the Cintiq to your Mac or were you able to connect directly?

Have you had any trouble out of it how do you like it I seen on other channels they have to keep updating the drivers have you I’ve been look to get on or the Huron 24 4k

I have one running on win 10 desktop pc with corel painter 23. So much better than ipad pro. Only downside is that you can‘t carry it around. Mine is mounted on the flex arm too which is beautiful to work on

btw nearly no reflection on the screen in bright light, so thats a big plus. And of course the pens weight since it is not powered

I was planning to buy the Huion kamvas pro 24. That screen tablet definitely is a big competitor against the Cintiq but I did my homework and so far these are the key aspect that made me decide to go for the Wacom instead. 1- Huion 4k 24 pro is not true 10-bit color depth at 4K and 60Hz in order to have that color gamut you need to work at 30Hz. 2- As a current user of a Huion Kamvas pro 22 (2019) I can tell you that drivers are something that are driving me nuts since day one. For 2D works fine but for 3D I notice a bit of lag using Zbrush, Maya, and Substance Painter. In order to have some happy balance, you need to constantly change from one version of the drivers to another, at least for PC. 3- On mac, there is a common issue that prevents the screen to turn back on after a period of time in sleep mode. This happens 3 out of 5 times according to some Reddit users. On the PC the pen starts to pan away near the edge of the screen. This looks like again driver issues. I went for the Wacom becose the only issue I found was something related to the fan noise and looks like it is related to the early models of the 24 and 30 inch Cintiqs. Plus, now there's is a way to control the speed of fans. and this was really the only major issue I was able to find on the internet.

@@juancarloshorta1934 The current version of the Cintiq Pro 24 seems to be exactly the same as the initial release. The only thing they made to reduce the fan noise was an option to choose a "low" fan speed and that was already in the 2018 firmware. No custom fan profiles, no upgraded better quality fans, nothing. Also the actual heat sink is abysmally small for no good reason. It's just an overpriced piece of ancient hardware by a company too small to compete in todays market. I'm not saying that Huion or other brands are any better as I haven't used them yet but the Cintiq is definitely not the pinnacle of pen display design by any means.

@@Minsetti I can weigh in and say this is a good assessment. Also, with the Huion 22 plus specifically, you can just unplug the usb-c cable from the unit and move it if you need to, no going under the unit to unplug 3 cables to move it from the desk. Also, the bezel on the Cintiq is HUGE compared to the Huion. Seems lot a lot of wasted space. I stopped at the Cintiq 27" for Wacom as it was the last unit to be produced without a fan, and I think as a non professional, the Huion units will do just fine. Also, the Huion is a much lighter tablet and the 22plus comes with a stand! (24 pro does not)

Hello, may ask if the Cintiq pro 24 do need a crystal screen protector? or the screen doesn't scratch by the time?

No you shouldn’t need a screen protector for this one. It’s etched glass and so far hasn’t scratched at all. Personally, I’m also against screen protectors as they usually mess up my digital drawing experience.
