Wacom CTL-472 Unboxing & Review for osu! (One by Wacom)

Final thoughts: The tablet is really good. The overall build quality is excellent, the tablet is responsive, and it just looks really nice to have. I could truly call this the sucessor to the well-renowned CTL-480 (didn't really try out CTL-471 so I can't say much about that).
One thing I forgot to mention in the video was the input lag, and it was basically almost identical to the CTL-480 while hovering. (I don't drag so I don't have much info. on that sorry) Other than that, I think I mentioned almost everything about the necessary details.
Thus, if you wanted to purchase a CTL-480 of your own but was swayed away by its now ridiculously high retail price and the difficulty of finding a used one online, you can go ahead and buy this tablet and have almost the exact same result at the price of 60~70 USD. (Basically the same price as CTL-480 when it was still being manufactured).

I use 471 but i used this one couple of times at friend's place. It's very good, no delay, pen is really light and has better grip and shape than 471. I will buy it when 471 breaks

I saw this review not that long ago when looking for a new tablet because: -I got a CTL-490 around the time it got released and it was an awful purchase (noticed my mistake when trying to play harder maps, it rules for drawing tho) My 480 started having seizures (should've purchased a less broken one, but it was such a good tablet) I ended up buying this new one a couple of months ago (found it for sale) and I have to agree on the input lag thing... It's *A LOT BETTER* than the 490 and pretty much the same as the 480 in terms of tracking (the pen's much lighter but no biggie)

Nice review! Btw what do the raw input stats show when viewing the enabled raw input setting in osu! options? For instance on the ctl-480, when you move the pen, the setting will display about 140 reports/second and 3 milliseconds of input latency. Thx in advance (:

One thing I hate about the tablet, is the hover height. Also the fact that you can't use the CTL-471 or CTH/CTL-480 Pen on the CTL-472 tablet. And the CTL-472 Pen would've been better if the area around the tip wasn't curved. My opinion.

I’m a mouse player but I do happen to have a tablet in the house it’s a ctl-471. I’m nowhere as good on it as my mouse but the matte on the pen is nice. Similar to the ctl-480 which I actually borrowed from a friend before I knew we had a tablet.

I'm not an experienced Xtapper so trying that out for a limited time will only give you inconclusive opinion/result. All I can say is that the tapping is as responsive as CTL-480 pen
