Most Wacom tablets have linux drivers built right into the latest kernels. If you get a brand like Huion, good luck (if you use linux).

Hi Ahmed. I think deco 01 v2 is better for teachers. Thinner, newer and it comes with a lot of stuff. Their qualities are pretty much the same.

I prefer deco 01 v2. Bcz it is thinner, newer, and comes with a lot of stuff.

@@GEORGIA671 your welcome Georgia. Cheaper wacoms are usually old, their pens might need charge, they might miss some functionalities etc. On the other hand the new ones are expensive. You can also check other brands like xppen and huion. I am using those for the last 4 years and they have really good models. Hi there. Small size does the job but I prefer medium size graphics tabelts. There is no big difference tho. I just find medium ones more convenient, easier to write, easier to work on details. Hi!! First, thank you for the videos, they are very usefull. I need the tableta to work and all reviews are to draw. Have you tried the new tablet xp pen deco mini 7? The size is ~7 x 4.4". I have tried several xp pen: g640, mini 7, and deco pro. For me, the deco pro is very good but the size is too big, however the mini 7 is very good, is an intermediate size. The main difference is the pen... I notice the top in pro is fix and in others pens the top is movil ?(strange). I would like a comparative wacom intuos S (the pen is old technology) vs xp pen deco mini 7. Thanks

Hi Susana, I am glad you like the vids. I havent tried deco mini 7 but I heard from my friends that it is a good one. And i can definitely say that it is better than g640. Deco pro is also a good one but yes, it is big. I think you willlike deco mini 7. If you ask me about the buttons on the pen, you can definitely change the functions by using xppen tablet software.

I beleive, This is better and newer than wacom one. So, i recommend this one. There is no biiiig difference tho. You can use both of them and teach online pretty easily.

Thank you for reviewing the tablet. Mine just came today. Besides teaching, I'm planning to use it to mark papers. Can it do that on a PDF file or Word doc.?

Hi Anna, I am glad you like the review. You can definitely use it to annotate on pdf files or word documents. It just works in Microsoft Word, you can use draw ribbon to use the tools. To mark up on a pdf file you need a software like pdf annotator kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnaTk4eFZdJ6b80 You can also upload pdf files to Microsoft onenote and annotate on them.

@@MathMathX I foresee more online classes and assessments for the next several months, so I hope the tablet would come in handy. I've tried annotating on a PDF using the Comment function under Tools, and it worked. I will try on a Word doc soon. Thank you so much. 😄
