@@sew_gal7340 We disagree. I feel like what’s best for a child are parent’s who actively chose to minimize inflicting trauma on their children. When parents fail to do that, an angry child is formed. That child then becomes an angry adult who winds up within the prison system. So, i will blame him for his role in creating this maniac who violently took the lives of two women that didn’t deserve such fates.

When the dad testified, it sounded like he was a young teenager (he said 14 or 15 years old!) who got his girlfriend pregnant, and they weren't able to keep the baby so gave him up for adoption! That does not sound like abandonment, to give him a better life. Another way to look at it, If the teenage couple had gotten an abortion then this man (murderer) wouldn't have been born. He might also have been born a psychopath. They are born without empathy or a conscience, no matter what environment they grow up in. My heart broke for his dad. Even though he and the mom did not raise him, you can just tell by the way he's addressing the prosecutor that he was raised to be kind and polite to everyone no matter who they are. And I can't begin to imagine how he must have felt to turn his son in but he knew it was the right thing to do. Like he said he would have done it again. Just my opinion, but I believe that.
