Do you not know that He has guards and only who can come to Him are those people that He chose. That is just one example. There was a time when people were able to approach their leaders and this is not that time. Allah said: "How can I have children when I have got no wife?" Qur'an Surah 6 Verse 101 and Allah is unique and there is nothing like Him. Qur'an Surah 112. Also read in Qur'an Surah Maidah 5 Verses 110 to 120 where the miracles of Jesus (pbuh) were done by Allah. Also read the mother of Jesus in the Qur'an Surah Maryam 19 explaining that Jesus (pbuh) is a prophet and messenger of Allah. NOTES: Please can you read the Al-Hilali and Muhsin Khan translation of the Qur'an.

Also one can be enslaved through purchase, if they are in an unpayable debt or as consequence of murder. Shamsi didnt mentiom those points but the problem is he also doesnt have an idea on islamic history to refute the flawed assumptions made by james on decontextualized historic instances. With zero comparison one can only assume that slavrry in the Muslim world was a chattel slavery and as brutal as the trans atlantic slave trade.

Slavery is not part of Islam, it’s naive to think so and some Muslims believe this unfortunately. No matter how many examples you give, including intra African slavery, it doesn’t give a genuine context to the concept of slavery in Islam. A juvenile mistake is made when it’s assumed that Islam advocates slavery, rather the only advocacy with regards to slavery in Islam is actually the freeing of slaves. I don’t believe it’s something that was meant to last. Slave is عبد which is related to عبادة, worship and المعبود, the one and only worshipped. Anyone who’s familiar with Islam very well knows that it’s a ridiculous attempt to justify slavery, human ownership in light of Islam. The Quran documents this so called slavery in Arabia at the time in terms of warfare legality but never commands it explicitly. In a very simple way of life where eating is commanded, I find it odd that the mark has been missed here. The moral of this is that it’d be easier being one of these captive girls in the time of the prophet محمد ﷺ than being a woman in today’s time, where spiritual dormancy takes a nasty viscous form of liberty, freedom and equality. الحمد لله على كل حال 💜

He ironically gave the example of Mamluks and Janisarys. Mamluk dynasty of rulers were themselves slaves. So the previous slaves got the power to become the Kings. Was it possible for any black person, whether free or slave, to be the ruler of Europe of US? Men and women were sold as slaves within Islamic slavey which shows they were not only enslaved by war. Not all slaves were freed as the demand for slaves was a constant because many parts of the world operated on a slave system. Women could be used as sex slaves and could also be sold and bought. Muhammed said to keep slaves within the family which is not freeing slaves but keeping slavery in tact.

Well, in sharia states, anyone who was a slave would be treated like a 5th class citizen if they were free. They would have to pay jizya... still a slave anyways. Quran surat Az-Zukhruf وَمَن يَعْشُ عَن ذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُ شَيْطَانًا فَهُوَ لَهُ قَرِينٌ (36) وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ (37) حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَنَا قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ بُعْدَ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرِينُ (38) وَلَن يَنفَعَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ إِذ ظَّلَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ (39) أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ أَوْ تَهْدِي الْعُمْيَ وَمَن كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ (40) فَإِمَّا نَذْهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَإِنَّا مِنْهُم مُّنتَقِمُونَ (41) أَوْ نُرِيَنَّكَ الَّذِي وَعَدْنَاهُمْ فَإِنَّا عَلَيْهِم مُّقْتَدِرُونَ (42) فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِي أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ (43) وَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَّكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ ۖ وَسَوْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ (44) وَاسْأَلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَا أَجَعَلْنَا مِن دُونِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ آلِهَةً يُعْبَدُونَ (45) وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (46) فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم بِآيَاتِنَا إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَضْحَكُونَ (47)

Ask yourself why others they don't have the same doubt who you have its because they are ignorant or because you have a lack of knowledge. if you have the problem with knowledge blame yourself not the prophet Mohammed Sala Allaho alihi wa salam. Do research and fix your doubt May Allah keep you firm * رَبَّنَا لاَ تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ ﴾ آل عمران7-8 ﴿الم * أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ * وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَاذِبِينَ﴾ العنكبوت1-3 ﴿ وَإِن كَادُواْ لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ الَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ لِتفْتَرِيَ عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُ وَإِذاً لاَّتَّخَذُوكَ خَلِيلاً * وَلَوْلاَ أَن ثَبَّتْنَاكَ لَقَدْ كِدتَّ تَرْكَنُ إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْئاً قَلِيلاً * إِذاً لَّأَذَقْنَاكَ ضِعْفَ الْحَيَاةِ وَضِعْفَ الْمَمَاتِ ثُمَّ لاَ تَجِدُ لَكَ عَلَيْنَا نَصِيراً﴾ الإسراء من 73-75. اللهم يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلوبنا على دينك، اللهم إنا نسألك الهدى والتقى والعفاف والغنى،

Prophet Mohammad PBUH said that the saved moslems group is who follow me and my companians, which is the moslems sunni salafi,the term sunni salafi we use it only to distinguish us from the misguided groups.
