They befriended Amy Lee when she saw a concert of them. She invited them in US, then they invited her to be a guest at their 2nd concert with orchestra. Yuko (Wagakki vocalist) is also a pianist like Amy. Amy also sang a Wagakki band song in Japanese, at the same concert. I guess they did this mainly for fun. Fans of both bands had mixed feelings. You should do more Wagakki band now. Try "Bou getsu", "Ignite", "Homura" or whatever you find.

Waggaki Band...they arent just musician but they are Gods and Goddess and engineers of their own musical instruments... Suzuhana Yuko - Vocals Machiya - Guitar Asa - Bass Wasabi - Drums Beni Ninagawa - Tsugari Shamisen (traditional 3 string guitar) Kurona - Wadaiko ( traditional drums) Kiyoshi - Koto ( traditional harp) Daisuke - Sakuhachi ( traditional flute) ...sir i recommend to please do comment to their other songs.. -Ignite -Sunwheel -Valkyrie -Okinotayuu -Zenbonsakura -Perfect Blue ( live ) -Subaku no Komoruita -Tengaku - Seime no Aria - Sycnhrocity - Ikusa - Bring me Back to Life with AMY LEE - Homura + Akatsuki no Ito live and still more.. I thought tbey did a pretty good job translating that song to those more traditional instruments... I was pretty skeptical at first, but they pulked it off...:) So you all mudt be near Stauton? When I was driving the truck I used to stop at the Petro on Raphine when I could...they got the buffet...lol Great reaction!

It was too mellow for me. Amy sings stronger, with more power in the original. It is not a lack of talent, I like Wagakki band but did not work for me.
