Unusually interesting music from a country where female bands are typically J-pop or identikit girl metal groups. Good to hear something different. I paid to download the full album from Bandcamp, and it's well worth doing, although the production quality could be improved. Sounds a bit like someone has thrown a wet blanket over the bass and drums, but that's fairly typical for Japanese bands these days

This song reflects the "Taisho Era" when the Empire of Japan was at its peak of prosperity. You can tell from the then-popular term "Haikara Revolution" that women were thriving and it was a time of Taisho Democracy. However, even amidst this flourishing and vibrant atmosphere, there was an underlying sense of impending doom. References to the guillotine and the word "end" are sprinkled throughout, giving a foreboding sense of conclusion. The song beautifully captures the fleeting nature of things, like cherry blossoms falling, evoking a sense of transience and impermanence. I still vividly remember the shock when this song was suddenly uploaded to Nico Nico Douga in September 2011, the year of the great earthquake. Listening to it, I was moved to tears.
