The Shamisen uses 3 strings and Beni is a master with the instrument. The flute is the Shakuhachi, the horizontal harp is the Koto, and the Japanese drum kit is the Daiko drums played by Kurona. The regular drum kit is played by Wasabi. The bass is played by Asa, who is a vocaloid producer and a MAN, contrary to his appearance in most shows, his primary foot ware are boots, but he will wear sandals on occasion. Yuko Suzuhana is the founder of the band and their lead vocalist, pianist, fan and sword dancer, and probably much more. The guitarist is Machia, in Homura, he is wearing a mask used in Noh plays.

It took you on a journey, didn't it? Wagakki Band is highly professional in everything they do, Founded by Poet, pianist and Shigin singer Yuko Suzuhana in 2012. Homura (flame) is a song Machiya (guitar) brought with him from a previous solo project. Akatsuki no ito (thread of dawn) is also written by machiya and is used by the audience as an encore chant. Beni Ninangawa on "shamisen" (3 strings) Kiyoshi Ibukuro on 25 string "koto" Daisuke Kaminaga on "shakuhachi" (bamboo flute) Kurona on "wadaiko / taiko" (Japanese drums) Asa on bass and Wasabi on drums. Think this could be a good sequel: War + Applause from Daishinnenkai 2018. Daishinnenkai is the Wagakki Band's New Year's concert. You should see their cover of Senbonzakura. It's their most popular video. Senbonzakura is one of my favorite songs. I listened to metal since the early 90s. But recently I've gotten into Vocaloid. Senbonzakura is a very famous Vocaloid song. Of course their cover has nothing to do with Vocaloid. I also really love their cover of Phony which is another famous Vocaloid song. Ado also covered both songs.

Wagakki is a Superband of the highest order founded by vocalist Yuko. Every single of those 8 members are master and teacher of their instruments. Their liveshows are second to none and only Rammstein with that crazy pyroshow is on the same level. Even Nightwish or Sabaton are not in the same ballpark as this dudes. WAGAKKI's (WA) means "uniquely Japanese" and (GAKKI) means "musical instrument. WAGAKKI BAND is a group of top-notch professionals who came together in response to Yuko Suzuhana's call to make traditional Japanese culture more POP and to share it with the world. Their first project was a cover album of songs created with Vocaloid, a songwriting software that lets virtual idols sing. The music video for "Senbonzakura," one of the songs on the album, caught the world's attention and has now been viewed more than 150 million times. In case you are wondering, they are no longer under contract with Avex and are now under a global contract with Universal Music. Because of this, please note that Avex-owned music videos other than live performances are now definitely blocked.
