Wagon Ride. Short end of the Stick. RJF

I had to take some folks for a wagon ride. So after I finished I took some of my visiting grandkids and family for a little wagon ride.

Good stuff! I had no idea where 'short end of the stick' came from, I bet most people don't. Language is interesting in that frequently used expressions often handed down over many generations, sometimes hundreds of years yet we 'turn a blind eye' to their origins.

Yes, and there are quite a few that the meaning has been lost. I always try to enlighten people to the knowledge whenever I have a chance. Thanks for watching and for the comments.
