Chad Miller Your one of the lucky ones.. there’s thousands that do snag and cut skins off just like my one. It’s a known problem with Wahl Balding Clippers, they need to sort this problem out. My was lucky he has a good one.

Only issue I've had with clippers snagging hairs was if the speed was turned down too low. Turn up the speed and the problem goes away. I can't speak on the Wahl Balding Clippers as never used them, not sure if they have speed adjustment but I have a set of Babylis that will get you if they were slow but they're great if you had the speed correct.

Hey everyone, I'm Uncle Vic Junior. I use a Wahl balding clipper, and what a brilliant job it does. At first, I was having trouble with my blades, you know, loudness from the vibrations would cause me to stop, and they would scar my head. But now, I fixed the problem. With my bottle of Andis clipper oil, all the problems are no more. Maybe, anyone else who has this issue should start with oiling your blades, and just keep them clean. Shout out to Nick George for the advice, and stay sharp!

hey I use the Wahl blading clipper I don't have any problems when I 1st got them they was sharp very sharp but once I zero gapped my blades.. mannnnnnnnn I cut with the flow of the grain of my hair if u go against it I get bumps .. but the clippers is love ... like I said I go with the grain and still get a nice clean cut

I swear I don't know anyone personally who uses clippers of any kind str8 outta the box, with no adjustment. Craziest thing I ever heard. Guys, clipper blades, especially the sharp ass 6x0 that come with wahl balders, MUST be adjusted or at the very least examined, PRIOR to using.

I would've kept the balding clipper and put the blade asembly from the home clipper on the professional one, it would've fitted. That home clipper gonna go out on you before that balding clipper.

Your beard looking on point bruh but yo i was rooting for them clippers to work out for you lol i've found myself to be an ANDIS man over the years i've never had any issues with their products. I did manage to find a great barber by the way and couldn't be any more pleased with his work. I've been twice already and we seem to be on the same page which is a sigh of relief for me wheeew lol any way ill be posting a new vid at my two month update showing his work until then keep them vids coming, stay blessed and BEARD ON my brother!!!

Glad as saw this vid I bought this gave myself a low fade I used this clipper around my neck to make my first bald out instead of using my and is t-liner guide It felt like it went smooth then I notice a bad irritation. After 5 minutes into cut I notice about 20 little fine marks . Whole neck was red with lots of little cuts. Is there anyway to adjust these. Before I use on someone else. I got them just for that purpose so I do not put wear down the blades on my trimmers. Are they use less should I return them? Is there a way to shuts them is my question?

Bro I like your video I almost order the blue Wahl but I order the Wahl chrome pro very similar.... People need to know that you don't need to buy the most expensive clippers or trimmers. I zero gap my cheap Wahl chrome pro and the clippers is sharper then the expensive andis clippers I purchased over the years .. As s black dude all I want my clippers to do was shave off all my facial hair.. the Wahl chrome pro does that for less the price.

If it hurts growing back in, chances are you shaved your head against the grain [opposite of the way it grows]. Thats not recommended & can cause razor bumps which definitely hurt! If it hurts I wouldnt suggest shaving again until the hair actually grows back [OUT of the scalp]. Otherwise, It'll happen again & again. #BRDGNG

That's the same issue with the Andis Fade master blade. The both use surgical blades and the are a professional clipper that takes time to get used to but they have to be zero gap'd completely to not snag and if they are not (are they are in the "open" position on the Fade Masters) then you have to maintain the proper blade position or it will snag. I'm a barber and I stopped using both. T-Outliners, Wahl Detailers, SlimLine pro or any bona-fide edgers will do the job and use a straight razor if you need more. IMO.

I used Andis Pivot trimmers to do this and I was left with a a shadow and don’t feel like it clean up like it would have been at the barber. I’m not sure what I did wrong. They aren’t zero gapped, they got hit within 10 minutes and the back and forth over one spot made my head sore. Seems like there would be an easier way to just get as close as possible. When I used clippers alone it didn’t work and trimmers alone didn’t seem to get it completely clean. Any suggestions? Thanks

​@@t.terrell7037What cut are you trying to do? If it is all bald and you want close as possible then use a razor if your skin isn't to sensitive. If it is sensitive, follow a hot washing/cleansing routine before and dry before the cut. If you're not doing bald or don't want to use a razor. You NEED to zero gap your edgers to get a clean even cut and you go against the grain to get a fraction closer. If you had a shadow, minus user error, it's probably due to gapping and and not following your hair growth patterns. I don't have experience with the pivot but Andis is a great brand for edging and clean up work, all this depends on the style your are cutting. Excuse the typos.

@southeastd.c5636 I would suggest Andis T-Outliner series or any size #00000 (5 zero) blade. They Wahl 5 star Balding clipper may be good too, but I don't have personal experience with those, and it may be too close if your hair is EXTRA sensitive (maybe not, idk). But when you start getting extra close with clippers, it's mostly the hand feel that's noticeable but just looking, not so much.
