Wahl clipper buzzing noise & not cutting hair | Wahl 9649 clipper vibrating and not cutting hair

You may have encountered this issue of a Wahl clipper making extreme noise, vibrating more than normal and more importantly not cutting your hair or beard.

My Wahl is a 9649 model. It started exhibiting these issues after I cleaned out the blades. After putting it back together it would not work right.
