Wahl Vapor Final Review 🤔 Are They Worth It?!

I love this clipper been using it for 2 weeks now and it’s great! 0 complaints, yea a dock would be great but it’s not needed. I’m mostly a wahl guy I try other brands but always go back to my seniors. This clipper will make my seniors go on a vacation. Sold my red lo pro fx clipper just cause imma never use it now. I was able to get mine for $160 from my supply warehouse I go to. Highly recommend this clipper.

For the price, these clippers should work out the box. If you have to modify, switch blades or upgrade accessories to get basic functionality of a clipper then it’s a bad product!

As a long time Wahl guy, I was really hoping that this would be the clipper to get them back into the game. They're the biggest household name but newer brands like Babyliss, Gamma/StyleCraft, and and JRL have seemingly surpassed them. For the price the formula seems simple. Good looks, ergonomics, nice blade, competitive battery life, strong motor, and charging dock. Damn it Wahl. 🤦🏾‍♂️lol

Haha they’re so close to being Wahl again but they could surprise us and drop one with a metal back. If they do that like magic clip vs senior. Just saying a metal body with a charging dock could be a 10/10 product.

I started balding when i was 27. But im not completely bald, just the top and middle near the front. I have been cliipping my hair to about 1mm allover my head for about 10 years now but im now thinking of styling some longish face stubble and perhaps fading up from the sideburns down into longer facial hair. Yes my head is upsidedown lol . Up until now i have been using the Wahl corded super taper but the cord os driving me a bit mad. Im looking to upgrade to cordless. Could you please recommend some clippers and or trimmer (if appropriate) for my situation? Can trimmers taper and also shave head hair to 0.5 mm?

My whole thing is that regardless of haircut a taper / fusion / non fade blade would be best to use. If you bought this I’d recommend switching the still blade. You’ll definitely want a sharp liner for the beard. Trimmer blades aren’t adjustable in the way that clippers are so I’d recommend getting both. What is your price range? That is important to this question & what brands are you against using?

@@cutsbycoast thanks for your response. I don't mind which brands but I originally got the Wahl Super Taper because it's an established brand and a hairdresser here in the UK suggested it. Cost me £50 back then. Budget about $230 if I need two things. But I'm aiming for Black Friday so that $230 might get me $350 worth. I'm not sure what a fusion is or a straight liner but I can figure it out if you would be kind enough to suggest the two things I need?

Wahl keeps trying to charge us top dollar without giving us top dollar extras. A dock should be standard, screwdriver, etc. They always did cut well, but they look dusty compared to other brands. If I’m paying $200+, they need to look like it 😂

I’ll double check it because it might just be a blue fusion blade but look up BRD clip. The main difference is that the cutter design goes all the way down to the bottom where the fusion stops and fills in. Might have to do another video on it

You gotta realize their prices are higher cuz they are built in the US. All these other companies like style craft are designed in Italy but made in China. All things considered it's Style craft that's over charging. It's cost them way less to make their stuff. Thus... TPOB... makes the same stuff cheaper.

It’s $150 on sale from $200 on Wahl website. The point was that a 3 machine dock is around $50 a piece so when they release a Vapor dock, it’ll be around $50.

Wahl didn’t need to make this clipper. The Senior already is a near perfect clipper, there’s no reason to use any other clipper from Wahl

That’s true but they only have 6500 rpm’s that’s pretty low at this point even TPOB is higher. I think if they had made an 8,000 rpm senior this would’ve been a great drop
