I’ve had issues with the instinct. Called stylecraft and they fixed it. I had issues with my older rebel. Called stylecraft and they replaced it. 👍

Shock horror, SC on a PR campaign to show their "improvements" to their reskinned version of this clipper, in a bid to justify a higher price point. Echo blade is just a tag and a gimmick, looks like a slightly different faper blade to me. Motor improvement wasn't even needed as the MRD cuts buttery smooth out the box anyway. If you're hellbent on getting this clipper, get the MRD. People on Philthy's discord were saying the MRD Smartbrain on its own is the best clipper they've used, way before SC released the Saber II I don't see why SC need to essentially trash the MRD product to prove and justify their so-called "improvements" they've made to their release (of what essentially is the same product still)

The problem is that the other hair clippers that are the same with a different color and name cost almost the same because you have to order it directly from Asia and with shipping and price you can save a few dollars. Those who consider it not worth it are better to simply buy the one that is available for the United States, which is where I live.

Someone need to take apart both and have a look inside, test the actual battery as SC just use a different wrap with their logo on the same one. Test then side by side with the same blade, I would bet they are exactly the same. And when I say take them apart, I don’t mean one SC send you do do so.

Theres another review j blendz or something. He opened the tpob goblin and instinct. The same clipper. I had a pair of evo trimmers that had a bad dock. I just dont believe they upgrade the inside but leave the rest the same. Why even use the same design to begin with. It just seem like the barber game got a lot of rebranding china products going on these days. All the same clippers with different names. Coco, supreme, tpob, mrd, stylecraft. Crazy.

TPOB only white labeled his products in the beginning and even then he wasn’t out here selling them at horrific prices. Even the Play clipper which was his own creation is selling for around $100-$120 when he could be selling them for at least $200 imo. But props to SC for successfully finessing people. They know there’s always gonna be people that buy shit just to have it regardless of the price 😂

Can you measure the rpm of the instinct metal? Since mine only gives 8800 and it is supposed to give 11000, I wonder if that is normal! I would really appreciate it!

People need to stop complaining about the price. Either u buy it or u don't. There are so many other clippers in the more affordable price range. Braun Series 9 been this price ever since they came out. Shears go for over $1000. But when a clipper hits $300 all hell breaks loose. *just a rant* but great review!

You can’t be that naive. It’s the same exact body, cutting blades minus the logos, same battery life that I’ve seen of 2.5 hours. Mrd makes the mold regardless of if they perfect it. Mrd made the Rebel, first saber & so on.
