Great video... for the mosquitoes and flies... Irish Spring soap. I kept some inside my solo camping trip with 3 dog's. And for cooking outside burned 3 different scented candles. The whole entire trip no flies and no mosquitoes. Love all of your gear! Fancy....and you're right solo trips can eat WHATEVER you want! Happy camping

I feel ya! Sometimes you just can't peg down the tent. So if we know for sure a place is hard to peg in then we'll bring our older tent which doesnt require to peg the corners to help keep the shape of the tent.

summer camping you need to bring mosquito repellent, coils for outside and thermacell for inside the tent. And also spray permethrin all over the tent ( once a year)

Kimchi burger in your mind; that kimchi looked good tho; great bright/rich color to it. I’m about to make kimchi fried rice which does require the kimchi to be more aged & fermented but I am craving fresh kimchi now

@@WahWu yeah I think initially ppl leave it out if they want to ferment it faster but I think it naturally ferments over time even in the fridge. It would be cool to have a kimchi fridge but that’s probably too much. I’d only do that if I actually made my own kimchi.

That's too hot to tent camp. You are near NOLF Imperial Beach where the Navy, Marines, and Border Patrol fly out of day and night. So expect lots of night overflights. Kimchi burger and fries. Soon Inn and Out Burgers will bring your idea to reality! 😀 That's one clean 80 series. I find using Citronella candles help with the mosquitos.

If the campground allows booking and has less availability I book first. Some campsites are FCFS only, then I just take my chances but look for backup campsites ahead of time
