These are the very people shouting "fix the country"
@setcho27123 жыл бұрын
Kwaku, They are right in asking the country to be fixed. In fact, they are admitting to the fact that they shouldn't get away with indiscipline that can and often cause the lives and well being of other citizens. I feel we need citizen-vigilantes who will block others blatantly disobeying our rules & regulation. (Just as we do to thieves, we shouldn't wait for the police all the time). I do sometimes drive out of my lane onto the road shoulders/pavements to block indiscipline drivers.

SO why does the police engage offenders when it is the court to decide who is guilty? Just let the offending culprit know why he is stopped, get his or her details or impound the vehicle (if that is what is required). Speedy prosecution or instant fine and try to keep some record of frequent or persistent offenders so that the penalties could be upped or increased appropriately including jail terms. Public office holders especially MPs and law enforcement agencies should lose their position or jobs. Let's make things work now otherwise, we will pay heavy price in correcting or clearing the mess. The Ghanaian society is now so polarized along many lines prominent amongst them is political, religious, and wealth. Once you can afford, you are almost free to do as you want. The police administration should consider recruiting some professionals outside their usual recruitment avenues or catchment group in the Ghanaian populace. (I don't mind working for the GH police on ad hoc or 'reservist' bases helping in training, intelligence analytics or any suitable form). Let's all help to make things work for our own good.
@ragamuffinhooligan40193 жыл бұрын
Why are the traffic enforcement officers engaging in so much talk? Just ask the perpetrators to present the relevant documents - license, insurance, vehicle's inspection, etc; then hand him or her the summons with the reason(s) checked off for the the court's judge or depending on the violation arrest him or her & impound their vehicles! Asking why you were driving in the opposing lane? Who told you that you can do that? It's all nonsense!!! Just get it done as they do in Western countries, Japan, China, South Korea, Singapore, Rwanda, etc!!! KISS - Keep It Simple Sah!

Everyone makes mistakes one way or another but let me ask citi TV after bringing out this video what have this helped country. Just trying to create tension when there are some major things u guys can add ur voices to bring more development but what do I see nothing. Major things like abandoned projects by the government, projects like schools, factory and clinics. This are the things u guys need to telecast so that the government can be on their feet when working when these are all done this things can follow after all we have achieved or increased our development rate

Unnecessary excuses. The laws will work without much of law enforcement agents in our mists/on the roads, based on the fact that Ghanaians are ready with commitments to change attitudes, use common sense and abide with basic discipline. Fines should be very heavy with records sent to various insurance companies for their premiums to go higher to also deter them.
